Visual analysis of the African American Museum of History and Culture. Hand-drawn on two 24” x 36” Bristol boards with pencil. Done in 2024 at University of Maryland for Michael Abram’s Visual Communication For Architects.

Drawings were ordered to tell the story of entrance and then decent. The movement of the visitor goes from lightness, representing serenity and calm, plunging down into darkness to access the historical galleries, mirroring the darkness of slavery and segregation. The visitor then ascends to present and future in the galleries at the top.
