A Place To…. A pavilion-scale intervention for architecture students at the University of Maryland, School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Four key programmatic words guided design - discuss, celebrate, rest and create. Mixed media; hand-drawn on vellum with ink and marker, scanning and digital. Goals were to create two distinct spaces and experiences, an above ground public one and a more private one. These experiences were connect via two skylights in which visitors could look at one another.
